If my brother Ian had his way, you could visit our place every night and see me sitting in front of our
Toshiba portable laptop, struggling to hold my coffee mug with my left hand, while I type with my write. Ian is not a clumsy computer user, who'll yell every time he sees me sipping mocha latte while typing. Ian would like me to do it in a safe and quiet manner. Unfortunately for him, I prefer to do it in a coffee-sipping, lights-on, getting in-and-out-of-the-room-for-more-coffee manner. But the problem with me is that I'm so generous that I let my keyboard drink some coffee, too.
In the spirit of giving my evil brother his due, I bought a waterproof keyboard from Man&Machine Inc. The keys are made of silicon rubber, just like the silicon keymat of the cheap Nokia phones. Cleaning our new keyboard is like a leisurely walk in the park. Using a clean, damp cloth and an anti-bacterial solution, I just simply wipe the keys to send the deep-seated germs to a vacation in Italy. The keyboard has no deep keys so there's no burden of whipping its back to get rid of the diarrhea-causing germs and
coffee stains.
